The B & B “La Canonica di Fungaia” is located 7 km. from Siena, on a hill (400 mt). The medieval hamlet “Fungaia” was just known to the sienese chronicle since 1247, it is on the old medieval pilgrim trail yet at the heart of Tuscany, the “Via Francigena” .
The small XIII century church and untouched nature frame the historical villa that is surrounded by a three hectares park with a spectacular view of Siena and the lower valley.
